The actual track itself can hold races up to the distance of 2100 metres, with a complete revolution of the track being completed to cover the distance.
The winning post is easily viewed by the patrons of the Club, as there is a substantial grassed area directly in front of it. There is also a clear line of site from the Grandstand. A completely parallel, elevated view of the Winning Post is available from the Members stand.
The gardens of the Turf Club have been designed in a way to compliment the natural beauty of the region.
The course has also been designed with the idea of family in mind, with large open grassed areas available for the use of family picnics etc. on race days.
